Old Neon is unlikely. Five strangers from Pittsburgh, PA coming together as the world was opening up again, never knowing if they would ever get to play a show. Unlikely that a band would survive through so many personal and creative differences to create their own tapestry of pop punk and grow together to become something greater than the sum of their parts. Unlikely that they would share stages with some of the biggest names in their genre, to challenge themselves as writers, and make it work at all. From the brink of breaking up altogether, the band has delivered their most moving work.
The producer of their latest EP Matt Brasch (The Wonder Years, Cold Climb It) has stated that they have done “better than make it work. Not only did the band make things work, they succeeded in stepping up their craft as songwriters and performers throughout the project. They dug deep for beautiful and explosive performances.”
