Box Elder is the creative project of front man and guitarist Chris Mason, who formed an indie punk outfit from Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 2022.

Drawing influence from late 90's/early 2000's indie and emo bands (like Built To Spill, The Get Up Kids, Death Cab for Cutie, The Anniversary) and blending that with modern day emo and pop punk (like Tigers Jaw, Balance And Composure, The Menzingers, The Wonder Years) Box Elder bring a unique approach to the pop-punk aesthetic blending tight, high energy and roaring guitars with booming and ethereal synthesizers.
