Polli

Pronouns: She/They

Where you at: Chicago

What do you do: Booking agent at Cole’s Bar in Chicago

Parts of MWFF involved in: Polli considers herself a gopher with Midwest Friends Fest - whether it's scheduling meetings, copy editing, curating playlists - she likes to work behind the scenes, and you'll likely see her behind the lens at the show.

What do you bring to the MWFF table: As a former Executive Assistant and Fundraising and Communications Director, Polli uses her skillset to the best of her abilities to ensure the ship runs smoothly.

Why did you want to be involved with MWFF? Independent festivals keep the DIY spirit alive, give show goers and artists an intimate opportunity to connect, and help us "walk the talk" in terms of systemic changes we want to see in the industry. I spoke with Jared as a budding photographer last year and he invited me to shoot last year's fest. He explained the nature of how the festival came to fruition, the intention behind why it exists and how the team is trying to grow it, and welcomed my ideas.
