Pronouns: He/him
Where you at: Cincinnati, OH
What do you do: I work in communications, am a proud husband and father, book shows, write about music, do live concert photography, and lead the MWFF Team!
Parts of MWFF involved in: I'm co-founder of MidWest Friends Fest, and lead the team behind this year's festival
What do you bring to the MWFF table: I've been thinking, talking, and writing about music since high school, have been booking shows on and off for 15 years, writing for CincyMusic for almost as long, I do concert photography at venues in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and love to build connections and foster community however I'm able. I'm an organizer, passionate about our local music scene, and work hard to stand up for what's right, honest, and real for myself and for those around me.
Why did you want to be involved with MWFF? The fest was and continues to be a tremendous opportunity for connection and community. We get to shine a bright, bright spotlight on the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky DIY scene, share it with bands from all over the country, and just as importantly, share it with fans from across the region. Getting to meet so many awesome folks, hear so many new bands, and make so many new friends is such a gift, and a joy - I love that we get to do this and hope that appreciation comes through in everything we do.
